I’ve officially been on the Swim Bike Fuel program for just over a week now and I am really loving it. The daily lessons are helping me learn how to fuel my body properly. Additionally. the mental lessons are helping me return to a positive mental space. I want my body to feel good and strong. Continuing to put junk in body is not going to help with that. My body feels strong and, as a result, my workouts lately have been getting easier. Duh comes to mind. I’m still waiting until the end of the program to make a final judgement, but as of now I think this is one of the better investments that I have made in terms of my health.
With all that being said, I weighed in this week and I was down 7.5 pounds. A lot of that is bloat and water weight since my diet was pretty terrible before starting Swim Bike Fuel. It will be much more telling to see what the weigh in is next week.
My Lovely Ladies are always looking to do new challenges and bring a little fun into working out. The latest venture in to this is coupled with some of our nerdier tendencies. I will say that I am a huge geek/nerd, but I’m not the biggest fan of the Star Wars and/or Star Trek. Blasphemy, I know. But some of the girls came up with a challenge: a minimum of 30 minutes of activity every day between now and when Star Wars Episode VII comes out. (I had no idea a new movie was coming out before this started even!). Most days I have tri training anyways, but this will get me off my butt to walk the dogs or do active recovery on rest days. Anyone else out there a nerd?
