First and foremost….we have a place to live!!! We have been staying with my amazing parents since the beginning of July, but we’ll be able to move into the new house at the end of September/beginning of October. I love my parents, but I very much miss having my own space and having all of my stuff. This is a huge stress off of my shoulders.
The new training plan is going really well thus far. Yes, it’s only week 2, but it’s showing promise. Last week let me really focus on my cycling. By the end of the week, my legs felt like they had better turn over and I was much more comfortable in aero. I also realized that I need to tweak my positioning, but that will take time. This week is swim heavy and I am loving it. I get to really focus in on drills. The swim is all technique and I really feel like I might be improving.
Hopefully the madness of life will calm down after next week. It’s been a while since Fella and i have been in the same spot for more than two weeks. I head to Buenos Aires for work on Monday though, so if anyone has any good recommendations please let me know!
